Welcome to my Devotional Journal.....
'Every Day With Hymn' has been in the making for many years.The Hymns we have known all our lives, are true works of art,... that rarely get appreciated.
It was not until I was in my 50's, that I realised the true wealth that they held.
Hearts and souls in joy and grief, poured out onto paper and buoyed with melody, to grandstand the awe-inspiring lives of those who struggled....
and won, because of Him.
Now, it is my turn to see the clear lines of love, that stretch across hundreds of years and pour out of our hearts, yet again, as our own stories unfold, all to the Glory of God.
Sing...... for Him.... and Hymn alone.
I look deep into the words of our Hymns. I feel their warmth, their strength, their courage flooding over me. It is at these times, I look across the landscape of my life and see that God has held me close at every turn..... ...and will never let me go.
Come, let us sing together,
the wonderful words of Life...
I thank my Saviour, Jesus Christ, for the life I have. May we never waste another second of the precious moments He has planned for us and may we never get so busy, that we forget to tell Him that we appreciate His amazing gift of grace.
